  • Beginner/Intermediate YogaThis class teaches the philosophies of yoga along with teaching basic yoga postures on which to build a healthy practice.  Students learn how to incorporate breath work and movement, proper alignment, and increase strength in the body.  If you have been thinking about trying yoga, this one is for you.  This is a class that is tailored for first-time students or newly practicing yogis.  Also appropriate for those who have been practicing for some time but are wishing to revisit the fundamentals. with KarenKaren has been an aerobics instructor for over 20 years and has taught everything from floor aerobics to Body Pump.  Karen currently teaches yoga, and is certified to teach pilates, spinning, and is also a Personal Trainer.  Karen is a Registered Nurse, and has always had an interest in health, wellness, and nutrition.  Karen enjoys teaching a challenging class, but always provides modifications for the beginner as well as the intermediate and advanced student.  Karen lives in the Abingdon area with her family, and 2 dogs. 10:00 am to 11:00 am
